HOUSTON, Dec. 3 -- The US Senate has reconfirmed Suedeen G. Kelly to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission for a term expiring June 30, 2009.

An attorney, she had been filling an unexpired term ending this year.

The Natural Gas Supply Association applauded the reconfirmation.

"She has demonstrated a willingness to be engaged in developing constructive solutions to the nation's energy challenges," said NGSA Pres. Skip Horvath.
