HOUSTON, Nov. 15 -- Deadline is Nov. 30 to review data and register to bid in the 2004 licensing round covering the Phu Khanh basin.
Deadline for bids is Mar. 31, 2005.
PetroVietnam offered nine blocks averaging 7,000 sq km each. The blocks are off central Viet Nam in 50-2,500 m of water.
The nonproducing Phu Khanh basin lies north of the producing Cuu Long and Nam Con Son basins and contains as much as 8,000 m of mainly Tertiary sediment.
