HOUSTON, Oct. 5 -- El Paso Corp. announced that Al W. Erxleben has been named vice-president, Gulf of Mexico operations for El Paso Production Co.
Erxleben was vice-president, exploration and then director, geology and geophysics for Black Stone Minerals Co., L.P. Previously, he held various positions at Apache Corp., Tenneco Oil E&P, and ExxonMobil Corp.
