Goodrich announces management promotions

Houston-based Goodrich Petroleum Corp. announced several management promotions and the hiring of a new vice-president, geology.

HOUSTON, July 20 -- Houston-based Goodrich Petroleum Corp. announced several management promotions and the hiring of a new vice-president, geology.

Mark E. Ferchau has been promoted to executive vice-president. Previously, Ferchau served as senior vice-president, engineering and operations.

Kenneth A. Jeffers has been promoted to vice-president, geophysics. Jeffers joined the company in 2002 as senior geophysicist.

In addition, James Gregg Lea has been assigned to the position of development coordinator for the company's on-going drilling and development activities.

And finally, Andrew W. Bagot has joined Goodrich as its vice-president, geology. Bagot joined the company from Chicago-based Peoples Energy where he held the position of senior geologist.
