HOUSTON, June 18 -- United Heritage Corp. subsidiary, UHC Petroleum Corp., Cleburne, Tex., received a Texas state permit to inject nitrogen into Val Verde basin leases to recover more of an estimated 168 million bbl of oil in place.

The site work was completed, and a nitrogen generator is onsite. UHC said it is on schedule to have four injection wells and 26 producing wells to be used in Phase 1 of the project. That could be expanded to six injection wells and 86 producing wells.

The total injection of nitrogen during the first phase could be 100,000 scfd or the equivalent of 2,900 b/d of fluid injected.
