National Gas Co. of Trinity & Tobago awards Stolt Offshore pipelay off Trinidad

National Gas Co. of Trinidad & Tobago has awarded London-based Stolt Offshore SA a $50-60 million contract to install 62.9 km of 36-in. natural gas transmission pipeline from the BP Cassia B platform off Trinidad to the coastal city of Rustville in southeast Trinidad.

HOUSTON, Apr. 2 -- National Gas Co. of Trinidad and Tobago has awarded London-based Stolt Offshore SA a $50-60 million contract to install 62.9 km of 36-in. natural gas transmission pipeline from BP PLC's Cassia B platform off Trinidad to the coastal city of Rustville in southeast Trinidad.

Stolt Offshore will employ its DLB 801 pipelay barge for the installation, which will take place in the second half of this year.
