HOUSTON, Apr. 12 -- Hunt Oil Co., Dallas, appointed James B. Jennings chairman and Stephen C. Hurley president.
Jennings, who has been with Hunt Oil for 25 years serving in all aspects of its exploration and production activities, served as executive vice-president during 1991-99 and president since 1999.
In addition to his duties as chairman, Jennings will continue to oversee the development of LNG as a new line of business for Hunt Oil, including its Peru LNG project.
Hurley will supervise Hunt Oil's operations, including exploration, production, and marketing.
Hurley joined Hunt Oil in August 2001, following the company's acquisition of Chieftain International Inc. Hurley was senior vice-president, chief operating officer, and a board member at Chieftain.
