HOUSTON, Jan. 8 -- Abu Dhabi Gas Industries Ltd. (GASCO) is planning to increase the gas processing and reinjection capacity of its Habshan gas complex in Abu Dhabi by September and has awarded a $10 million contract to Fluor Corp. for front end engineering and design services.

In order to process increased oil production in Bab fields by GASCO's parent company, Abu Dhabi National Oil Co., GASCO will add a new 350 MMcfd train and install a low-pressure booster compressor, an acid-gas removal unit, and a natural gas liquids (NGL) unit.

In addition, it will construct a gas pipeline from Bab field to Habshan, and an NGL pipeline and high-pressure gas pipeline to Habshan from Abu Dhabi Co. for Onshore Oil Operations (ADCO)'s oil field at Bu Hasa.

A reinjection compressor unit at Habshan will supply ADCO with gas for reinjection to Bab field.
