HOUSTON, Oct. 22 -- The Wiser Oil Co, has appointed Matt A. Eagleston as president of company, effective immediately.
He succeeds A. Wayne Ritter, who is retiring after 12 years with Wiser.
Eagleston joined Wiser in 1995 and held positions of increasing responsibility until his appointment as vice-president of production in 2002.
Previously, he was with Snyder Oil Corp., Fort Worth, Tex.
