Pakistan's Privatization Commission is moving ahead with plans to privatize the National Refinery Ltd. (NRL) by inviting financial advisory companies to submit expressions of interest to provide their services.

KARACHI, Aug. 1 -- Pakistan's Privatization Commission is moving ahead with plans to privatize the National Refinery Ltd. (NRL) by inviting financial advisory companies to submit expressions of interest to provide their services.

The government has proposed selling as much as 51% equity of NRL along with the transfer of its management to a strategic investor.

NRL is a refining complex having a combined processing capacity of 62,050 b/cd of crude oil.
