HOUSTON, July 28 -- St. Mary Land & Exploration Co., Denver, announced Doug York was promoted to executive vice-president and will become chief operating officer effective Sept. 1.
Ron Boone, executive vice-president and chief operating officer, plans to retire as a company employee, effective Dec. 31, although he will remain on the board of directors.
York has worked for St. mary for more than 7 years, most recently as vice-president, manager of engineering and acquisitions.
