HOUSTON, Apr. 21 -- Williams Cos. Inc., Tulsa, named Donald R. Chappel as senior vice-president and chief financial officer.
Chappel most recently founded and served as CEO of a Chicago development business. Previously, he served twice as chief financial officer of Waste Management Inc.
He succeeds Jack McCarthy, who retired on Dec. 31, 2002, after 10 years as Williams's chief financial officer. Gary Belitz, who had served as acting chief financial officer, will continue to serve as controller and chief accounting officer.
