HOUSTON, Apr. 22 -- Engineering and procurement are under way on a fourth cryogenic processing train at a Williams Cos. gas plant in Opal, Wyo. The new cryogenic turbo expander plant will have a processing capacity of 350 MMcfd and will be capable of extracting more than 7,000 b/d of natural gas liquids. Willbros Group Inc. has teamed with Williams to provide engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning for the unit.

The project will boost the plant's total processing capacity to more than 1.1 bcfd of gas from 750 MMcfd with the ability to recover more than 50,000 b/d of NGL products.

The unit will process volumes from Shell Exploration & Production Co. affiliates' production from the Pinedale Anticline in southwestern Wyoming, currently 70 MMcfd of natural gas.
