HOUSTON, Feb. 3 -- Cathy L. Tompkins has been appointed vice-president, information technology for Ocean Energy Inc.
Tompkins was promoted to this new position after serving 3 years as director, information technology, and 5 years in other technical and management positions for the Houston-based independent.
Previously, she held positions during her 20-year professional career in marketing, applications management, systems and programming positions with Cabot Oil Co., DCS Software & Consulting, Price Waterhouse, and Shell Oil Co.
