HOUSTON, Dec. 16 -- Noble Corp., Sugar Land, Tex., acquired two jack up drilling units, the Trident III and the Dhab II, from a Schlumberger Ltd. subsidiary for $95 million.
Both units are independent leg, cantilever jack ups working in UAE territorial waters.
The Trident III has a contract with Dubai Petroleum Co. that terminates Jan. 13, 2004. The Dhab II has a contract with Abu Dhabi Oil Co. Ltd. (Japan) that terminates July 14, 2004.
