HOUSTON, Oct. 17 -- Eugene N. Dubay was appointed senior vice-president and chief operating officer of Semco Energy Gas Co., a unit of Semco Enrergy Inc., Farmington Hills, Mich. Dubay succeeds Jon Kosht, currently serving as president, who is to retire Oct. 31.
Since 1997, Dubay has served as president of Kansas Services Gas Co., a division of Tulsa-based Oneok Inc. Dubay joined Semco in 1996 as vice-president, corporate development.
During 1981-96, Dubay held positions of increasing responsibility Southern Union Co. of Austin. In the last 2 years of his tenure with Southern Union, he served as executive vice-president and chief operating officer of Missouri Gas Energy, a division of Southern Union.
