Phillips Petroleum Co. said Conoco Inc. will use Phillips' S Zorb Sulfur Removal Technology for gasoline at its four US refineries and one in England. The two companies plan to complete a merger this year.

Enersul Technologies, Calgary, part of the Marmon Group, has commissioned a second sulfur granulating plant at Sasol Pty.'s Secunda 87,547-b/d refinery in South Africa. Also, Tengizchevroil has given Enersul a contract for a formed sulfur handling system at its for their refinery at Tengiz, Kazakhstan.

Prism Gas Systems Inc., Bedford, Tex., has bought Dynegy Midstream Services LP's interest in Waskom Gas Processing Co., a partnership which owns a gas processing plant in Harrison County, Tex. Other partners are Reliant Energy Gas Processing Co. and Amoco Production Co. Prism will be operator.

Duke Energy Field Services has placed its 33 MMcfd Platteville natural gas processing plant in service. The plant, northeast of Denver, will be expandable to 50 MMcfd. Duke owns seven plants and more than 2,200 miles of gas gathering lines in the Denver-Julesburg basin.
