HOUSTON, Nov. 21 -- The first of the four Nuggets accumulations on Block 30/19 in the UK North Sea has come on stream, said sole owner TotalFinaElf SA.
The gas-bearing accumulations that make up the field complex 400 km northeast of Aberdeen have been designated N1 (North Nuggets), N2 (West Nuggets), N3 (Southwest Nuggets), and N4 (South Nuggets) (OGJ, July 16, 2001, p. 56).
The £128 million Nuggets N1, N2, and N3 accumulation development project is a cluster of four subsea wells tied back 54 km to the Alwyn North installations, with controls being provided via the Dunbar platform.
First production from Nuggets N1 will be followed by Nuggets N2, then N3.
The three Nuggets accumulations will produce 165 MMcfd of gas that will commingle with gas from the Alwyn area for export through the Frigg Transportation System to the St. Fergus terminal in Scotland.
Development of the Nuggets N4 accumulation is expected later.
