HOUSTON, July 9 -- Woodside Energy Ltd., operator of the North West Shelf Venture off Australia, said Sunday that production is returning to normal after a process disruption at the venture's gas plant at Karratha, Western Australia.
Woodside said production was affected Saturday night because of high moisture levels in the NWS' offshore gas trunkline. The levels rose during the commissioning of an offshore production well.
There were no health, safety, or environmental effects, said the company.
Woodside said liquefied natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas, and condensate deliveries have not been affected, but that minor delays are expected in some Cossack crude oil cargo deliveries.
It said all orders for gas to industrial customers are expected to be met, though some customers enacted contingency plans in case of a longer disruption.
