HOUSTON, May 30 -- Oman Gas Co. has awarded a consortium of two Canadian companies a 5-year contract to operate and maintain the Omani gas transmission system.
Enbridge Technology Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Enbridge Inc., Calgary, and BC Gas International Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of BC Gas Inc., Vancouver, will operate the system, which includes an existing 800-km pipeline and two lines totaling 1,000 km that are under construction.
Canadian Energy Services LLC, a newly formed joint venture of Enbridge Technology, BC Gas International, and OHI Petroleum & Energy Services LLC, has established headquarters in Muscat.
