Coflexip Stena Offshore said Tuesday that its Norwegian entity Coflexip Stena Offshore Norge AS has been awarded two engineering, procurement, construction, and installation (EPCI) contracts worth more than 60 million euros, combined.
AS Norske Shell awarded CSO a contract for design, supply, installation, and tie-in of flexible pipe to tie back the Garn West manifold to the Draugen platform, plus flexible jumpers connecting two subsea wells to the Garn West manifold. The contract also includes deployment and positioning of the Garn West manifold and protection structures with installation of an umbilical and two umbilical jumpers, as well as final tie-in and protection of all flexibles and umbilicals.
Garn West is in the Norwegian North Sea. The system will be installed beginning in summer 2001.
The contract also includes an option for EPCI work on the Rogn South development, with tie back to Garn West.
Esso Exploration & Production Norway AS awarded an EPCI contract for the subsea and platform tie back work on the Ringhorne field, also in the Norwegian North Sea.
The contract comprises supply, fabrication, and installation of flowlines and risers from the Ringhorne platform and subsea wells to the Balder floating production unit. CSO Norge will design, procure, fabricate, and manufacture the pipelines and perform the offshore installation and tie-in of the flowlines and risers.
The flexible risers will be installed in the summer of 2001, and the rigid flowlines will be installed in the summer and fall of 2001. The platform tie-back, tie-in, and completion will take place during the second half of 2002.
