Paris, has named Ron LaBarre vice-president of large industry markets and international customers.

Air Liquide Group

Paris, has named Ron LaBarre vice-president of large industry markets and international customers. LaBarre has relocated to Paris from Houston, where he previously served as senior vice-president for large industries with Air Liquide America Corp.

LaBarre earned a BS in chemical engineering from the University of Massachusetts, and an MS in the same field from the University of Pittsburgh.

Air Liquide Group is a global provider of industrial and medical gases and related services. Founded in 1902, Air Liquide has 125 subsidiaries in 60 countries and employs over 30,000 people, serving the metals, chemicals, and oil and gas industries worldwide.

CRC-Evans Pipeline International Inc.

Houston, has appointed Mike Smith as chief operating officer, and Paul Evans as chairman of the board.

Smith has more than 20 years of experience in the international pipeline industry, with expertise particularly in the Eastern Hemisphere. He will be responsible for overseeing all of the worldwide operations of CRC-Evans.

Evans is a graduate of the University of Tulsa and has more than 41 years of experience in the pipeline industry.

Superior Energy Services Inc.

Harvey, La., has announced several recent appointments. Superior Energy Services' Well Intervention Group has promoted Huey Kliebert to bundled services manager, Larry Kirspel to engineering manager, Louis Boutte as Louisiana sales manager, and Greg McCormack as Texas sales manager. Mike Cashman has been promoted to coiled tubing division manager over offshore operations.

Kliebert is a petroleum engineering graduate of Louisiana State University, and has 19 years of oil field service experience. Kirspel holds an electrical engineering degree from Christian Brothers University, Memphis, Tenn., and has over 28 years of oil field experience. Boutte, McCormack, and Kirspel joined Superior from Reeled Tubing Co. Boutte has 31 years of industry experience, while McCormack has 25 years in the industry.

Superior Energy Services' Marine Division has named Bill Folse health, safety, and environmental manager; and Dewayne Boudreaux as human resources manager. Folse and Boudreaux, who both joined Superior from Power Offshore Services, will have responsibilities for all marine operating groups in New Iberia, Harvey, and Belle Chasse, La.

Don Dixon has been named corporate CPA, and Shana Guilbeau is new marketing communications manager. Dixon is a graduate of the University of Kentucky, and was previously with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Dallas. Guilbeau is a magna cum laude graduate of Loyola University, and joined Superior from Aggreko Inc.'s national sales and marketing office in Houston.

Superior Energy Services is a provider of specialized oil field services and equipment, focusing on serving the production-related needs of oil and gas companies in the Gulf of Mexico.
