Houston, has named five vice-presidents to the following new positions: Hal J. Goldie, vice-president, subsea systems; Edward E. Will, vice-president, marketing; Mark E. Crews, vice-president, technology; J. Gilbert Nance, vice-president, drilling; and Harold E. Conway, vice-president and general manager, Eastern Hemisphere.

Goldie joined Cameron in 1969. He will focus on the award and management of large-scale, extended-scope subsea projects.

Will held positions with Baroid and the Western Co. of North America before joining Cameron in 1998.

He holds an MBA from Harvard University.

Crews will manage Cameron's research and devel-opment center in Houston. He joined Cameron in 1978, after receiving his BS in mechanical engineering from Texas A&M University.

Nance's role will include global responsibility for the company's drilling product lines. He holds a BS in mechanical engineering from the University of Houston, and has been with Cameron since 1984.

Conway will manage Cameron's operations in the UK, Europe, and Africa. He has been with the organization 26 years and holds a business degree from the University of Notre Dame.

Cameron manufactures drilling and production equipment including control systems for surface and subsea applications.

Pompano Beach, Fla., has named George Reichardt as technical sales manager. Working from his Belleville, Ill., office, Reichardt will provide technical support to a customer base in the mid-central US and expand sales in the region.

Industrial Environmental Coatings Corp. manufactures thick-film epoxy coatings and linings designed to provide long-term durability and protection against chemical attack, corrosion, and leaks.

FMC Corp.

Chicago and Philadelphia, has effectively split into two independent entities: a chemical company and a machinery company. Joseph H. Netherland, formerly president of FMC Corp., has been elected president and chief executive officer of FMC Technologies Inc., the machinery company. Additional appointments for FMC Technologies are: William H. Schumann III, chief financial officer; Peter D. Kinnear, vice-president, FMC Energy Systems, responsible for energy production; and Robert L. Potter, vice-president, FMC Energy Systems, responsible for energy processing.

FMC Technologies Inc.'s IPO was on June 14, 2001.

The energy production systems group within FMC Technologies supplies systems and services used in offshore exploration and production of crude oil and natural gas. The energy processing systems group provides specialized systems and products to customers involved in production, transportation, and processing of crude oil, natural gas, and refining petroleum-based products.

Wayne, Pa., has appointed Jeremy Harris as SCR inside sales representative for its stationary source emissions control (SSEC) group. Harris holds a BS in chemical engineering from Drexel University, and was most recently a process engineer for Drytec North America.

The SSEC group of Johnson Matthey designs and supplies catalysts and catalytic systems to control emissions of nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons, and toxic volatile organic compounds.

Johnson Matthey is a 180-year-old, highly diversified global technology firm. The company has provided catalytic solutions for air quality problems for more than 25 years.

Paragon Engineering Services Inc.

Houston, has appointed Craig W. Gordy as manager of safety engineering services. Gordy presently is assigned to the BP Mardi Gras project as Paragon's health and safety manager. He has 25 years of experience in various positions with Marathon Oil Co.

Gordy holds a BS in industrial engineering, with fire protection and safety engineering specialty, from Texas A&M University. He is a registered professional engineer in the state of Texas, and has served on safety and environmental committees of both the American Petroleum Institute and the UK Offshore Operators Association.
