Wireline anchor aids underbalanced perforating

Unocal Thailand Ltd. has found that a wireline anchor can effectively reduce the potential of perforating guns being blown up or down the hole while perforating underbalanced in slimhole, monobore gas wells.The tool requires no special landing nipples or other completion hardware.
