Chesterfield, Mo., has opened its third mill, the 16 in. mill, in its Blytheville, Ark. location. It joins already existing energy and structural mills. The third mill can produce both energy and structural products with an OD of up to 16 in.

R&M Energy Systems

Houston, has appointed Richard Schmidt vice-president of international sales and business development. Based in Chaineux, Belgium, Schmidt will be responsible for growing the company's international business as well as over-seeing its European sales and distribution operations.

Schmidt most recently was vice-president eastern hemisphere at Wood Group Pressure Control. Prior to that, he held numerous international sales and marketing management positions with FMC Energy Systems Division.

R&M Energy Systems, a unit of Robbins & Myers Inc., manufactures and markets products used in the discovery and recovery segments of the oil and gas industry. It has facilities in the US, Belgium, and Canada.

PAC Petroleum Analyzer Company LP

Pasadena, Tex., has hired Tim Matthews as vice-president of operations. Ron Jacobson has joined PAC as vice-president controller. Promotions at PAC include Ranzy Morgan, vice-president of process analyzer marketing, sales and service; Lysa Thigpen, marketing manager, North America; Pat Ritz, general manager of PAC brand center PetroSpec; and Paul Stankiewicz, product manager of PSPI manual and semi-automatic testing equipment.

PAC Petroleum Analyzer, a Roper Industries Inc. company, combines well-respected brands of test equipment into a single manufacturing, marketing, and service organization. Roper Industries, Bogart, Ga., is an international manufacturer of fluid handling, industrial controls, and analytical instrumentation products.

Fisher-Rosemount Flow Computers

Marshalltown, Ia., and Aurion Technologies, Dallas, have announced a strategic partnership. Under the partnership, Aurion Technologies will become the exclusive provider of an internet-based field data collection and data presentation system for Fisher-Rosemount electronic flow computers and remote telemetry units, including a new line of web-enabled electronic flow measurement devices.

In conjunction with the partnership, Fisher-Rosemount will begin offering a complete internet-based flow measurement service including field-based electronic devices for measuring the flow of natural gas; a remote communications service that retrieves, stores, and presents field data on the internet; and a complete line of technical field services.

Netzsch Oilfield Products GmbHSelb, Upper Franconia, Germany, a new subdivision of Netzsch Group, has appointed Silvio Benduzzi as managing director. He will be supported by Jorg Eitler, manager of the technical and sales departments in Waldkraiburg, Bavaria.

Benduzzi has worked for the past 10 years in South America, building the market for oil field pumps in that region.

Netzsch Oilfield Products completed its first order from Selb in October 2000.
