Houston, has named Dennis Pisula international business development manager.

Houston, has named Dennis Pisula international business development manager. He will be primarily focused on international sales of the process plants, pipeline, and automation segments of Mustang's business.

Pisula has more than 25 years of experience in the hydrocarbon industry, most recently as vice-president and manager of global sales for the process division of Parsons International.

Mustang Engineering, a member of Wood Group, specializes in design, engineering, procurement, project management, and construction management of upstream oil and gas facilities and structures, pipelines, process plants, and control and automation projects.

INOVx Solutions

Irvine, Calif., has announced the appointment of Edward Anderson as vice-president of business development. Anderson holds a BS in chemical engineering from the University of Tennessee and has over 30 years of experience in the engineering/construction and operations/maintenance arenas. Most recently, he was Paladin program manager for Air Products & Chemicals.

INOVx Solutions is a privately held high-tech engineering company that takes a new approach to plant life cycle data management with focus on 3D visualization solutions for plant documentation and information management.

Halliburton Energy Services

Houston, has formed a strategic alliance with Vertex Petroleum Systems (VPS) to offer remote, ongoing reservoir modeling and analytical services to the petroleum industry. The alliance combines the communication capabilities of the internet with VPS' proprietary reservoir modeling technology and Halliburton's broad experience.

Vertex Petroleum Systems is based in Englewood, Colo.

Halliburton Energy Services is a provider of products, services, and integrated solutions for oil and gas exploration, development, and production.

Chet Morrison Contractors Inc.

Houma, La., has announced that Phil Thibodeaux has joined the company and will manage its newly formed offshore pipeline business unit. The new business unit will extend existing pipeline capabilities from coastal waters to depths up to 300 ft.

Thibodeaux received his degree in civil engineering from Louisiana State University and has over 24 years of experience in offshore marine construction.

Chet Morrison Contractors provides fabrication services to the oil and gas industry. Its Houma-based business units include inland marine construction, offshore pipeline, and offshore facilities construction. The company operates a platform fabrication unit based in Harvey, La.

Bouygues Offshore

Montigny-le-Bretonneux, France, and Kazakhoil's Kazakhoilkurylys have formed a joint venture company to be named Kazakhoil - Bouygues Offshore (KOBOS). The new company will undertake turnkey oil and gas construction and service projects in Kazakhstan. Each of the founding partners will have 50% interest in the new entity and will contribute complementary resources.

Rebis Inc.

Walnut Creek, Calif., has launched Rebis GMBH which, through a partnership with Kiel Engineering Group, will provide a solution-based model for the sale of Rebis applications and services inside Germany.

Rebis Inc. is a supplier of PC plant design and management software, with an installed base of over 65,000 products. It offers a suite of applications for piping, structural, process, and instrumentation design and management, pipe stress and fluid flow analysis, and plant information management.

Kiel Engineering, a division of Kiel GMBH, provides support services in plant maintenance, plant shutdown, pipe fabrication, project management, engineering, and software development.
