US sanctions and Europe

It is somewhat ironic that in OGJ (Feb. 19, p. 17) an editorial focused on how the US government might take greater care in its dealings with Europe, you refer to NATO as the North American Treaty Organization!

It is somewhat ironic that in OGJ (Feb. 19, p. 17) an editorial focused on how the US government might take greater care in its dealings with Europe, you refer to NATO as the North American Treaty Organization! As I'm sure you are aware, countries other than the USA are part of this treaty which is correctly entitled the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. It seems it is not only the US government that needs to be attuned to the sensitivities of dealing with Europe.
