Regarding the letter by Allen G. Hatley (OGJ, Dec. 11, 2000, p. 14), someone finally got it right. One can only wonder why finding that kind of insight isn't an everyday occurrence in major parts of this petroleum industry, but that time is long ago if it ever existed. There have been lots of examples of this sort of thing.
