Here's a new line of high alloy investment cast ball valves.

They are offered as a two-piece, bidirectional, floating ball with interchangeable soft or metal seats.

All valves feature the patented Nobleizing process, which helps increase corrosive and erosive resistance.

These valves come in titanium, zirconium, Hastelloy, and Inconel in sizes from 1/2 in. to 4 in. full port.

Hot oil system

This custom hot oil system is designed for use in heating revolving rolls, platens, molds, jacketed tanks, and autoclaves. The custom system has a preengineered and proved design package that has been field tested under continuous operation at temperatures to 650° F.

Low watt-density Incoloy 800 sheath heating elements are arranged to provide even heat inside the tube bundle. The buffer tank design solves oil degradation problems associated with hot oil (over 150° F.) reaching the expansion tanks without the need for a nitrogen purge system.

One example of its use is in a petrochemical plant during the process of manufacturing sheets of polyethylene. The liquid polyethylene travels across the heated rollers for consistently even heat to ensure a smooth distribution of product for sheet manufacturing.

A new slim-hole pulsed neutron reservoir performance monitor (RPM) system evaluates and manages hydrocarbon reserves and investigates well performance. The new technology is suited for slim hole carbon oxygen, pulsed neutron capture, and borehole diagnostic applications.

The 111/16 in. RPM system promises accurate reservoir and production monitoring and on-site completion diagnostic services such as establishing water saturations through tubing, time-lapse monitoring of fluid contacts, locating the source of unwanted water production, detecting water channeling, and horizontal well-flow evaluations.

Particle flow monitor

A rugged continuous on-line, in-line particle flow monitor is suited for monitoring the flow of solid particles in gases and liquids, and liquid droplets in gases. Based on nonoptical principles, the monitor measures minute shock waves produced by impacts of solid or liquid particles on a probe. A transducer converts these waves, which are proportional to the kinetic energy of the impacting particles, into electric signals.

The instrument is available in two different types: a two-level alarm, which can be based on mass/second or number of particles/second, and a process monitor, which measures total particle mass/second, number of particles/second, the mass of each particle, the time of impact, and characteristics of each particle.
