For live, remote viewing inside a vessel or a tank, this new easy-mount camera combines high performance video imaging capability with durability. The compact, lightweight camera can be mounted on virtually any existing sight port. Or the company can provide an integrated video/sight glass assembly based on the camera to meet your specific application requirements.

It can be used to monitor virtually any process or procedure, including mixing, cleaning, foaming, spray patterns, transfer, and level control. Using it, an operator can exercise remote control over a process safely and efficiently, whether the application entails one vessel or a number of vessels. The addition of a standard video recorder makes it possible to create real time visual records of these processes.

The camera is available in black and white or color versions, with resolutions up to 450 TV lines. Lenses are available in six sizes with focal lengths ranging from 2.9 mm to 16 mm to optimize the desired field of view. The package measures 6 in. high by 3 in. in diameter, and unit weight is 4 lb.

The housing is made of corrosion resistant aluminum, dust and waterjet tight. Also, for hazardous locations, the camera can be equipped with an explosionproof housing approved for UL, CSA, FM, and Cenelec. An adjustable stainless steel mounting bracket is provided to allow for accurate adjustment of the camera angle.

Spatial data management software

Now available is Image Cat-LI, the topo map management tool for Land Info's county/state series. This is the first product in a suite of software tools aimed at providing data base management tools to more effectively store, retrieve, and distribute spatial imagery within an organization's digital mapping environment.

Image Cat-* understands the Land Info tiling scheme, resolves the issues at county and 24/25k boundaries, and makes it easy to find, clip, and reproject a specific region from the catalog, the company says.

The Image CAT product series provides software tools that will work with a variety of digital map products, including topos, orthophotos, DEMs, and eventually satellite images in a number of standard formats, including Mr. Sid. The technology builds image catalogs, performs spatial searches, and queries, seams, clips, and transforms image coordinates. This technology will soon be delivered via the internet.

Roller bearing catalog

Free 6-page, four color Catalog 8864, describes the Sphere-Rol line of heavy-duty spherical roller bearings.

Invented more than 30 years ago, these bearings feature high capacities, high limiting speeds, long life under misalignment, and protection from contamination with a variety of sealing options, the catalog explains.

The three available sealing options-Nylaplate seal, Nylaplate high-temperature seal, and Lambda seal-are described and schematically illustrated in the literature.

Other bearings are also shown and described.

Downstream products

The free brochure "Millions of Possibilities" contains information on a full line of Zeolyst zeolite powders, catalysts, and adsorbents. The products are used as hydrocracking and xylene isomerization catalysts, as adsorbents for chemical separation, and for NOx reduction.

Products are used in refining, petrochemical production, environmental applications, including automotive emissions reduction, and as replacements for homogeneous catalysts in the manufacture of chemicals. The standard Zeolyst zeolite powders include Type Y, beta, mordenite, ZSM-5, and ferrierite.

UV treatment solutions

New, free literature describes ultraviolet systems for disinfection, oxidation, reverse osmosis, ultrafiltration, deionization, TOC reduction, ozone destruction, and other oil industry processes.

Systems exceed US Department of Health requirements for ultraviolet disinfection of potable water. All use safe, powerful, long-lasting ultraviolet lamps, specifically high intensity, low pressure, hard quartz units rated for more than 9,000 hr of continuous use.

The heavy industrial series features skid-mounted systems, including piping and filtration packages, for ultrapure water, marine, and petrochemical applications. It is for installations requiring high-capacity processing (flows from 265 gpm and higher) and heavy-duty service. Special linings are available, including ECTFE (Halar) and PVDF fluoropolymer.
