Williams joins Cadcentre from Kvaerner, where he most recently was vice-president of information technology and computer-integrated engineering functions.

Cadcentre, headquartered in Cambridge, England, specializes in process plant engineering information technology.

CONMEC Inc.

Bethlehem, Pa., has announced that Murari Singh has joined the company as director, engineering technology.

Singh has over 30 years of turbomachinery industry experience. He holds an MSME from City College of New York and a PhD from Alfred University, Alfred, NY. He was with Dresser-Rand for 25 years, most recently as manager, product/technology for the Asia/Pacific region.

Pinckneyville, Ill., has appointed Jon Taylor and Tracey McHale as regional sales managers for its Flextray Cable Management Systems product line.

Taylor, formerly national account manager with CommScope, is responsible for sales activities in the central region. McHale, former Homaco district sales manager, handles the northeast region.

Amburn has 23 years of experience in various capacities within the export sales department of Harbison-Fischer.

Ceballos has more than 20 years of international sales experience, having lived and worked in the North Sea area, Middle East, and Southeast Asia.

Founded in 1933, Harbison-Fischer manufactures a premium line of precision-made subsurface sucker rod pumps and accessories and markets its products throughout the world.

Hoerbiger Corporation of America Inc.

Pompano Beach, Fla., has named Hans Mathews manager of gas engine systems.

Mathews comes to Hoerbiger from Tennessee Gas Pipeline, where he most recently served as superintendent of reliability analysts. He holds a degree in mechanical engineering from Texas A&M University.

Hoerbiger is the largest independent compressor valve manufacturer in the world, maintaining production facilities and service centers in 30 countries. Mathews will be responsible for the final development and delivery to the marketplace of the company's new HYPERfuel System, which has been under development for the past year through a partnership between Hoerbiger and Altronic Inc.

Parsippany, NJ, has announced the appointment of Rick Kowey to senior vice-president and general manager of its Specialty Gas Division.

Kowey joined Matheson in 1997 as eastern region sales manager and most recently was vice-president of sales for the Specialty Gas Division.

Matheson Tri-Gas is a gas technology and supply company. The Specialty Gas Division includes equipment engineering and manufacturing, and gas production facilities throughout the US and Canada.

Pampa, Tex., named Harvey Deharde vice-president of marketing.

Deharde has more than 30 years of industry experience in logging, perforating, and charge manufacturing. He has a BS degree and is a member of SPE, OIPA, and IPAA.

Titan manufactures perforating gun systems, shaped charges, wireline hardware, and downhole logging instruments.

Cleveland, Ohio, has announced the appointment of senior litigation partner Hugh R. Whiting to be partner-in-charge of the firm's Houston office, set to open in January, 2001.

Joining a number of Jones Day lawyers who will relocate to Houston, will be 14 attorneys from the Houston litigation firm of Bayko Gibson Carnegie & Hagan. The firm will use this new location in the world's energy center to expand its practice of representing major and independent oil, gas, and power companies.

Jones Day has 25 locations worldwide with over 1,400 lawyers.
