ENRAF, Inc, Houston, Tex., has named Chip Steffler western regional sales manager. Steffler will be responsible for the company's product sales in western U.S., supervising the company's manufacturer's representatives in that region.

ENRAF, Inc., Houston, Tex., has named Chip Steffler western regional sales manager. Steffler will be responsible for the company's product sales in western U.S., supervising the company's manufacturer's representatives in that region. Steffler has more than 15 years experience in sales, applications engineering and field service. He has worked in the level instrumentation and measurement industry for more than seven years, most recently with Whessoe-Varec. Steffler will be based in the Los Angeles area.

ENRAF manufactures a complete line of precise tank gauging instruments and systems. Its products include radar- and servo-operated gauges, as well as hybrid and hydrostatic (HTG) tank gauges. ENRAF also provides the industry with ENTIS Pro, a Windows NT-based liquid inventory management system.

Nalco/Exxon Energy Chemicals, L.P. (Nalco/Exxon), Sugar Land, Tex., has named Jack A. Shubert president and chief executive officer.

Shubert began his career with Nalco Chemical Co. in 1977 as a technical sales representative in the refinery process chemicals group. In 1980 he was promoted to account manager. Later that year, he transferred to marketing as product manager. In 1982, Shubert was named district manager in the additives group. He became marketing manager for refinery process chemicals in 1984 and sales manager and general manager of Refining Process Chemicals in 1986.

In 1990 Shubert became general manager, Visco Chemicals. In 1992, he was named general manager, UNISOLV Group. Later that year, he was elected vice president and president of the petroleum chemicals division. In 1994 he was named senior vice president of marketing and support services for Nalco/Exxon.

Nalco/Exxon Energy Chemicals, L.P. is a worldwide supplier of specialty chemicals and services used in oil exploration, distribution and refining.

Compressor Systems, Inc. (CSI), Midland, Tex., has named Stirling Warren vice president-compression services western region. His new responsibilities will include operations, sales, service and business development for the western US which encompasses Tex., N. Mex., Colo., Wyo., Utah and Mont. He most recently served as Rocky Mountain business unit manager where he was located in Farmington, N. Mex.

Compressor Systems, Inc. is a single-source provider for sales, leasing, engineering, fabrication and operation of gas compression equipment. The company engineers and designs all phases of gas compression, including: pipeline, gas gathering, field compression, gas storage, gas lift, plant compression, offshore and specialty applications.

Zeolyst International, Valley Forge, Pa., has named Dr. Yung F. Chu to be a part of its international sales and marketing team.

Dr. Chu will hold the position of market development manager with responsibility for new market development and custom accounts primarily in the Americas. He has more than 20 years of experience in R&D, new product and sales and marketing development with Mobil R&D and Engelhard Corp.

Zeolyst International is a supplier of zeolite catalysts and adsorbents, including both standard zeolites and custom powders and catalysts. Zeolysttrademark products are used in refining, petrochemicals, fine chemicals, and environmental applications.

Parker Drilling Co., Tulsa, Okla., has named Don Goodson vice president/general manager of international operations. Goodson, a 23-year veteran with Parker, began his career with the company in 1976. He has held numerous administrative and operations roles with Parker, domestic and international, including division manager for Indonesian operations, and most recently, vice-president of the Latin America region. Goodson replaces Bob Dunn who has resigned.

John Gass will expand his role as vice president of international marketing and Mike Lomax will continue in his new responsibility as operations manager for international operations. Both Gass and Lomax will report to Goodson.

Parker Drilling Co. is an energy company specializing in barge and offshore drilling and workover services, international land drilling and specialized oil tool rentals.

Sandvik Steel, Sandviken, Sweden, has named Ola Rollén president, to succeed Per Ericson, who has left the Sandvik Group.

Rollén, who was previously executive vice president of Avesta Sheffield, took up his new appointment at the end of last year. He has previously served as president of Kanthal AB, which was bought by Sandvik in 1997.

Sandvik Steel is a producer and distributor of tube, strip, wire and bar for many advanced applications. The products are made of stainless and high-alloy steels and of special alloys based on nickel, titanium and zirconium.
