Fort Smith, Ark., has named Charles H. Newman executive vice-president and general manager. Newman's experience with New Prospect includes supervision of the roustabout and pumping division and vice-president of operations. He was also instrumental in the founding of the pro-data systems, the company's computerized well-site data gathering system.
Purvin & Gertz
has announced the relocation of John H. Vautrain, vice-president and director, from Long Beach to Singapore. Vautrain will continue his responsibilities for the Asia-Pacific area as well as assume the role of office manager for the Singapore office. He will concentrate on expanding Purvin & Gertz' natural gas and LNG-related consulting activities in Singapore.
Leslie N. Watson will serve as manager of the Long Beach office and supervise the firm's West Coast energy practice. Watson has been stationed at Purvin & Gertz' Long Beach office since 1994.
Robert G. Anderson, vice-president, has relocated to the Long Beach office. Anderson has been with Purvin & Gertz since 1974. He has been stationed in Dallas, London, and Singapore as manager.

Sugar Land, Tex., named Danny W. Adkins senior vice-president of operations. Adkins recently served as senior vice-president of engineering for Noble Drilling Services Inc. He holds a BS degree in mechanical engineering from Southern Methodist University and has over 30 years of industry experience in operations and engineering.
Alan R. Hay has been named director of administration and contracts. Hay recently served as manager of contracts of Noble Drilling Services Inc. Hay holds a degree in business studies from Aberdeen College of Commerce.

Houston, has named Alexander W. (Pete) Schoemann general manager of the Oilfield Chemicals Division (OFC). Shoemann is responsible for sales, marketing, and technical support in North America and Latin America.
Previously, Schoemann worked in the sales and refinery divisions for Nalco Chemical Co. as well as district manager and sales and marketing manager for the refinery division of Nalco/Exxon. He holds a mechanical engineering degree from the University of Colorado and is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, National Petroleum Refiners Association, and National Association of Corrosion Engineers.

Foster Wheeler USA Corp.
Clinton, NJ, has named Steven E. Eggert director, deepwater technology, of its oil and gas division responsible for upstream business. He will be based in Houston. Eggert will be responsible for developing the company's offshore and deepwater, domestic, and international oil and gas business and will work with the company's petroleum development operations in the UK.
Eggert was previously a manager of subsea production systems with Brown & Root Energy Services. He has 22 years' experience in the offshore oil and gas industry as a project manager and facility operator in the Gulf of Mexico.

Austin, has named Robert E. Dreyling and Scott David Crump to its engineering staff. Dreyling is a retired regulatory engineer from ExxonMobil, and Crump was previously with Schlumberger.
Dreyling hold a BS in civil engineering from Purdue University. Crump holds a degree in petroleum engineering from the Univeristy of Texas at Austin.

Pinnacle Technologies
has named Richard G. Keck vice-president. Keck will manage the Hydraulic Fracture Diagnostics Group.
Keck previously worked for ARCO as manager of the Drilling and Production Technology Group. Prior to that he was a field engineer with Mobil and also worked for Dowell Schlumberger as a research engineer. He is the author of over 25 industry papers, has served on the steering committee for two SPE forums, and was chairman of the API subcommittee on fracturing fluid rheology. He is an instructor for the SPE Technology Update Program and will be an SPE Distinguished Lecturer in the fall of 2000 on drill cuttings and solid waste injection.
