Houston,Tex., has named Lisa A. Floyd executive vice president, business development and E&P services. Floyd joined Apache in 1984 and has held numerous technical and managerial positions in the company including vice president of technical services. Her current position includes leadership of the company's business development activities, and E&P services including corporate reservoir engineering, and crude oil and gas marketing.

Roger B. Plank has been named executive vice president and chief financial officer. Plank joined Apache in 1981, and has served as vice president and CFO since 1997. He has previously held senior leadership roles in planning, corporate development, corporate communications and external affairs. His current responsibilities include the oversight of accounting, treasury and finance, information technology, planning, investor relations, public and international affairs, and governmental affairs.

H. Craig Clark has been named executive vice president, US operations. Clark joined Apache in 1989 and has held numerous senior management positions including most recently regional vice president of the southern region and chairman and chief executive officer of ProEnergy. His new responsibilities include leadership of exploration and production activities in the company's midcontinent, southern and offshore regions.

John A. Crum has been named executive vice president, Eurasia and New Ventures. Crum is returning to the US after five years as managing director and regional vice president of Apache Energy Ltd. in Perth, Western Australia. His new responsibilities include oversight of Apache's Western Australia, Poland and China regions and of the company's new ventures group.

Apache Corp. is a large gas and oil independent with operations in the US, Canada, Egypt, Western Australia, Poland and China.

Houston, Tex has formed a Deepwater Operations Department and has named Robert M. Shivers as manager- deepwater development. The move extends Vanco's commitment to deepwater exploration, operations and development offshore West Africa.

Shivers has 19 years of drilling and field development experience with Getty/Texaco. Before 1993, Shivers worked a variety of drilling projects in both the Gulf of Mexico and the UK North Sea. Since 1993, he concentrated on offshore field development in both regions. In the Gulf of Mexico activity, Shivers led the rebuilding of the topsides for Texaco's Petronius compliant tower, the world's tallest offshore compliant tower.

Vanco is a privately-held oil and gas exploration and production company with licenses offshore West Africa, in Gabon, Morocco, Côte d'lvoire, Senegal, Equatorial Guinea and Namibia.

Dallas, Tex., has named Albert G. Luke president of the recently consolidated DMD-Roots Division. Dresser Equipment Group is a business segment of Halliburton Co.

Luke joined the M.W. Kellogg Co. in 1982 and held several executive positions with that organization until his appointment to the position of staff vice president of strategic development for Dresser Industries.

In 1999, he joined the staff of Dresser Equipment Group in the same capacity and was promoted to president of the Instrument Division in August 1999. Luke succeeds Dean Pope, who has elected to pursue other interests outside of the company.

Formerly three separate divisions within Dresser Equipment Group, DMD-Roots is a consolidation of Dresser Roots, Dresser Instrument, and Dresser Manufacturing divisions.
