Thomas T. White has been named operations manager, for Ridgeway Petroleum Corp., Calgary.

Thomas T. White has been named operations manager, for Ridgeway Petroleum Corp., Calgary. He will be located in the St. Johns, Ariz., office. White has over 12 years' experience in the oil and gas industry.

Jon Young has been appointed general manager, South Australia business unit, for Santos Ltd., Adelaide. He was with Mobil Corp. and mostly recently served as CEO for Indo Mobil Ltd., New Delhi.

Rob J. Routs has been named president and CEO of Equilon Enterprises LLC. He replaces Jim Morgan, who has retired. Routs was president, of Shell Global Solutions International BV, The Hague. Before that he was president of Shell Canada Oil Products & Chemicals. Routs will be based in Houston.

Larry LeBlanc has been appointed vice-president, East Coast operations, for PanCanadian Petroleum Ltd., Halifax, NS.

Edward L. Stillie has been named president of Blue Ridge Energy Inc., Bowling Green, Ky. He has been a senior executive for over 20 years with companies such as NRM Corp. and Boston Financial Inc., and most recently he served as marketing director and senior vice-president for Swift Energy Co., Houston. Stillie replaces Robert D. Burr, who has resigned as president to concentrate on the duties of chairman and CEO for Blue Ridge.

Ron Mercer has been named executive vice-president and COO for Aspen Group Resources Corp., Oklahoma City. Mercer is a petroleum engineer with more than 30 years' experience in oil and natural gas asset management, with a focus in Oklahoma and Texas.

Roger L. Ebert has been named president and CEO of Motiva Enterprises LLC, Houston, effective May 1. He succeeds Wilson Berry, who has retired. Ebert is currently vice-president, marketing and manufacturing, for Texaco in the UK and Ireland, based in London.

Joseph E. Sparano has been appointed president of Tesoro West Coast Co., a subsidiary of Tesoro Petroleum Corp., San Antonio. For the past 5 years he has worked as an independent consultant and strategic investment adviser. Prior to that, Sparano was chairman and CEO of Pacific Refining Co., Long Beach.

Dirk Smith, senior staff geophysicist for Century Exploration, Metairie, La., has been promoted to exploration manager.

Steve Walker has been appointed technical manager to oversee implementation of an operations integrity management system for ExxonMobil Marine Fuels, the global marine fuels subsidiary of ExxonMobil Corp. Prior to joining the marine fuels division, he spent a year as fleet operation superintendent with Mobil and was responsible for operation of three tankers. Walker joined Mobil Shipping in 1981. He will be located in Leatherhead, UK.

Brian L. Rehkopf has been promoted to vice-president, engineering, for Berry Petroleum Co., Taft, Calif. He was manager of engineering. Rehkopf joined the company in 1997.

Rick Steedman has joined Oiltec Resources Ltd., Calgary, as senior exploration geologist. He has 20 years' experience in the Western Canada sedimentary basin, including 13 years with a senior Canadian producer where he explored for natural gas in deep, carbonate reservoirs.

John Koch has joined Niko Resources Ltd., Calgary, as vice-president, operations. A professional engineer with 20 years of industry experience, he was previously vice-president, international operations, for an intermediate-size international oil and gas company, and he has experience in North and South America, Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

Joseph Pritchett III has been named president and CEO of Canadian 88 Energy Corp., Calgary. He replaces Greg Noval, who has resigned but remains on the company's board. Pritchett was executive vice-president of Duke Energy Hydrocarbons.

Michael Wood has been appointed president and CEO of Heritage Oil Corp., Calgary. He succeeds Tim Torrington, who has resigned. Wood was also appointed a director of Heritage. He was CFO.

Debbie S. Wernet has been named president, North American trading, for Shell affiliate Coral Energy LLC, Houston. She has served as CFO and most recently as senior vice-president, power trading. Wernet joined the company in 1996. Curtis R. Frasier has been named president of energy services. He joined Coral in 1998, previously holding the position of president, Shell midstream enterprises.

John D. Schiller Jr. has been promoted to executive vice-president, operations, for Ocean Energy, Houston. He has served as senior vice-president, North American onshore and international, since the merger of Ocean and Seagull Energy in March 1999. Prior to that, Schiller was senior vice-president, worldwide operations, for Seagull Energy.

A. Vince Miller has been appointed vice-president, operations, southern division, for EnerVest Management Partners Ltd., Houston. He was vice-president, acquisitions. Miller began his industry career as an engineer with Occidental Petroleum Corp.

Patrick Thomas, president of Huntsman polyurethanes, will assume responsibilities for Huntsman Corp.'s specialty chemicals group, Everberg, Belgium. The specialty chemicals group will include polyurethanes, propylene oxide, propylene glycol, MTBE, and the current Huntsman petrochemical-based performance chemicals group.
