The new Skilmatic 301/302 valve actuator line includes seven quarter turn models for emergency shutdown, fail safe isolation, and fire damper applications. The new actuators feature installation simplicity of single phase 120 v or 240 v ac power and economy of using virtually no power in set position. A patented, totally sealed electrohydraulic drive eliminates the complications of pneumatics, accumulators, pumps, and compressors, the firm points out.
Actuators are suited for oil/gas/pipeline operations, chemical processing, and water/waste/pollution control systems. The quarter turn units are suited for two-position applications on ball, butterfly, and plug valve and fire dampers.
The single pump Model 301 comes in three sizes providing torque outputs on 212-460 in.-lb. The Model 302 features a dual oscillating pump system and comes in four sizes providing torque outputs of 1,035-4,513 in.-lb.
