Bluewater's Bleo Holm is now on location in the Ross/Parry field, about 60 miles off Aberdeen. The photo shows it under tow in the Clyde, on its way to the field. Bleo Holm is a new-build FPSO. The vessel was constructed in Japan and fitted out at UIE Clydebank. Installation of the mooring system was completed in May 1998 with tow out of the vessel in February 1999. The hook-up was completed in March 1999. The Talisman Energy (U.K.) Ltd. operated Ross field started oil production on Apr. 20, 1999. (Photo courtesy of Smit International).
