Total Petroleum Inc. is near completion of its $135 million hydrotreater project at its company's Ardmore, Okla., refinery. Total's 70,000 b/d Ardmore refinery normally produces about 45,000 b/d of gasoline and 15,000 b/d of diesel fuel. The new unit, however, will allow more variations in the product mix in response to market conditions. It also will permit a much wider variety of crude feedstock.
