Discussion of draft GHG bill turns into CAA debate

Nick SnowWashington EditorDemocrats and Republicans quickly established their differing views as a US House subcommittee debated legislation designed to draft legislation to halt the US Environmental Protection Agency's efforts to limit greenhouse gas emissions under the Clean Air Act. Democrats contended that the bill sponsored by Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Fred Upton (R-Mich.) would gut the CAA.
