A newly developed general correlation accurately predicts acidic combustion gas dewpoints to mitigate corrosion potential in pollution control and energy-recovery equipment.Acidic combustion gases can cause rapid corrosion when they condense on the surfaces of heat recovery and flue-gas-treatment equipment.
