Causes of Tarim oil field drillstring failures assessed

A statistic analysis found that drillstring failures in Tarim oil field were related to the difference between specifications and working conditions.The analysis documented the drillstring failures from January 2005 to March 2006.During this time, Tarim oil field had 36 failures in 2005 and 21 from January to March 2006.
