Study sees continued deepwater expenditure growth

Despite lower expected expenditures during 2009 and 2010 relative to 2008, a study forecasts that the petroleum industry’s deepwater expenditures will trend upward and reach $35 billion by 2013.In addition, the Douglas-Westwood study, The World Deepwater Market Report 2009-13, expects deepwater project expenditures to total $162 billion in the 2009-13 period.
