The number of US projects injecting carbon dioxide for enhancing oil recovery likely will increase as new CO2 supplies become available.For example, in states on the US Gulf Coast, Denbury Resources Inc. continues to add pipelines for distributing CO2 to new fields.Companies also have slated new projects for the northern portion of the Rocky Mountains and the Permian basin of West Texas and New Mexico.
