Dry gas internal corrosion direct assessment (DG-ICDA) can be an effective means of evaluating networks of pipe for internal corrosion. Evaluating large networks of pipe in a single assessment results in reduced project time requirements. In cases where in-line inspection was used as the integrity assessment method addressing internal corrosion on a trunkline and where no gas additions between purchase points and no history of internal corrosion in any of the laterals or the common trunkline, multiple laterals that tap off the same trunkline can be combined into one ICDA region.
