Systems approach improves start-ups

The systems approach to start-up helps reduce construction man-hours by eliminating duplication of effort, which is useful in itself. It is an extension of the systems approach to construction, which involves the precommissioning team working closely with construction, beginning with the hydrotest of the systems.The real benefit, however, is allowing customers access to the systems sooner so that they may begin to make use of them and keep their workloads more uniform during precommissioning of the project.
