New integrated camera for manipulators

This new integrated wrist camera for Titan manipulators features a titanium camera housing for protection and internal cabling that eliminates cable snags and abrasions.

The high-resolution color camera includes two bright LED lights with two illumination levels. Depth rating is 4,000 m.

For easy control, the operator can turn the camera on and off from the Titan master controller. The master controller also controls light power and intensity.

The manipulator wrist camera is compatible with any manipulator arm that features in-arm slave electronics. The camera can be ordered already installed on a new Titan 4 manipulator system or can be ordered as a kit for existing Titan 4 arms and Titan3 arms with in-arm slave electronics.

The camera upgrade kit contains all items needed to install the camera. Installation can be performed in less than an hour, and no software upgrade is required.

New head welds return bends to thin-wall pipe

The new M45 weld head has been designed to enable the welding of thin walled stainless steel return bends to tubes fitted in to heating and cooling equipment.

The heads are controlled with closed loop servos, and parameters are monitored 500 times/sec to provide a precise and accurate control of the weld profile. The M45 can be used for tubes that are flush, receded, or protruding from the tube plate.

Heads are controlled with closed loop servos, and parameters are monitored at a rate of 500 times/sec to provide control of the weld profile. Tubes of 6-20 mm OD can be welded with repeatable results. Because the welding arc is contained in an enclosed chamber that is filled with inert gas, the M45 can be used to weld stainless steel, nickel alloys, and titanium tubes.
