Verona, Pa., has announced the promotion of Rob McIlroy to vice-president as member of the board of directors. McIlroy holds an undergraduate degree from Hamilton College, Clinton, NY, and has been with Robroy Industries for 13 years.

Houston, has announced the appointment of Peter A. Ragauss as senior vice-president and chief financial officer. Ragauss earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Michigan State University, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He most recently served as segment controller of refining and marketing for BP PLC in London.

Caspian Services Inc.

Salt Lake City, has announced the appointment of John Scott as chief operating officer, and Terrance J. Powell as vice-president of investor relations.

Scott, a British national, has an extensive background in seismic and marine operations over a 14-year international career, most recently with Schlumberger.

Powell, a Canadian national, is a long-term resident of Kazakhstan, and recently served as director of government and public relations for PetroKazakhstan, and as director of marketing for the Caspian region for PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

Caspian Services Inc., headquartered in Salt Lake City, provides oil field services in the Caspian Sea region of western Kazakhstan. The company, which maintains offices in Almaty and Aktau, Kazakhstan, provides geophysical and seismic data acquisition and interpretation services, maintains a fleet of vessels in the Caspian Sea, and has other services in the Port of Bautino.
