Saudi ArabiaSaudi Aramco revealed a gas-condensate discovery in the Eastern Province 27 km off the southeast edge of supergiant Ghawar oil and gas field.Midrikah-3 flowed 27 MMscfd of gas with 932 b/d of condensate with 5,414 psi wellhead pressure on a 1⁄2-in. choke from Permo-Carboniferous ‘Unayzah at 15,000 ft MD.Sustainable production capacity of the well could be 50 MMscfd on a 1-in. choke, the company calculated.UtahDelta Petroleum Corp., Denver, plans to spud this summer the first of three exploration wells budgeted for 2006 on the Central Utah hingeline.
