T.D. Williamson Inc. Tulsa, has announced the appointments of Jon Major as vice-president, Western Hemisphere region; Phillip Morrison as vice-president, pipeline integrity products and services; and Andre Borucki as vice-president, Europe, Africa, and Middle East region.

Major, who holds a BS degree in civil engineering from Michigan Tech University, and an MBA from Oklahoma State University, has over 20 years of energy industry experience.

Morrison

Morrison's responsibilities include the pigging products manufacturing and service operations in Tulsa, and in Swindon, UK. He earned a bachelor's degree in business from Texas A&M University, and is working on his MBA.

Borucki has been with TDW since 1991, and replaced Jean-Paul Van Schandevijl, who has retired.

Bachrach & Wood

Morgan City, La., has elected Eddie Peters as vice-president of operations. Peters has served as operations manager since 2002.

Bachrach & Wood, formed in 1953, provides marine surveying and consultant services for the marine industry in the Gulf of Mexico. Services include builder's risk surveys for heavy lifts and pipeline construction, warranty surveys for trips-in-tow, vessel safety and condition audits, and on-off charter surveys for barges and boats.

Cooper Cameron Corp.

Houston, has announced its acquisition of the PCC Flow Technologies segment of Precision Castparts Corp. The operations being acquired include General Valve, located in Brookshire, Tex.; PCC Ball Valves, located in Milan, Italy; TBV specialty valves, in Millbury, Mass.; AOP Industries, in Moore, Okla.; and Sterom manufacturing in Romania. The majority of the operations acquired have become part of Cooper Cameron Valves, expanding that division's product offerings and services.

Cooper Cameron Corp. is a leading international manufacturer of oil and gas pressure control equipment for drilling, production, and transmission applications onshore, offshore, and subsea, and provides oil and gas separation equipment, centrifugal air compressors, integral and separable gas compressors, and turbochargers.

Energy Solutions International

Houston, has named John Sherman as chief technology officer. Sherman has 25 years of experience in software development and the energy industry, including service with Bechtel as an environmental engineer, and 13 years with Landmark Graphics, where he advanced to executive vice-president. He earned undergraduate degrees in computer science and mathematics, and a master's degree in computer science, all from the University of Houston.

Energy Solutions International, founded in 1976, is a leading global supplier of pipeline management technologies for the oil and gas industry. The company has offices in the US, UK, India, China, and Canada.

Flint Energy Services Ltd.

Calgary, has announced the appointment of W.J. Lingard as president and chief executive officer, succeeding Brian F. Butlin, who has retired. Butlin will remain as vice-chairman of the board.

Lingard has over 22 years of experience in senior positions with energy services companies in North America, most recently as chief operating officer of Nabors Canada LP.

Flint Energy Services Ltd. provides a wide range of integrated midstream production services through 41 operating locations throughout western Canada, and the southern and midwestern United States.

Harvey, La., has appointed Ken Blanchard as president, adding that role to his current position as chief operating officer. Blanchard has more than 30 years of industry experience, and has been with Superior for over 10 years.

Superior Energy Services is a single-source provider of production-related services, rental tools, and liftboats worldwide, employing over 3,300 people in 50 locations.

Foster Wheeler Ltd.

Hamilton, Bermuda, has announced formation of a new oil and gas division for its subsidiary, Foster Wheeler Energy Ltd. The new division, headquartered in Reading, UK, unites all Foster Wheeler oil and gas expertise into one group to meet needs of the onshore and offshore upstream oil and gas, gas processing, LNG and gas-to-liquids markets. Malcolm Harrison has been appointed divisional director of the new group.

Foster Wheeler Ltd. is a global company providing a broad range of design, engineering, construction, manufacturing, project development and management, research and plant operation services for the refining, upstream oil and gas, LNG and GTL, petrochemical, chemicals, power, and other industries.

Varel International

Dallas, has announced the hiring of Bob Dickenson as oil field roller cone product manager. He will serve as primary product liaison for Western Hemisphere sales and service personnel and Eastern Hemisphere product managers. Dickenson graduated from South Dakota School of Mines & Technology with a BS degree in mechanical engineering, and earned an MBA in technology management from the University of Phoenix.

Varel International, founded in 1947, is a major supplier of drill bit focused solutions for the global oil and gas industry.
