Dallas, has announced the appointment of Graham Mensa-Wilmot as vice-president of engineering and research for the PDC business unit. Mensa-Wilmot has a master’s degree in drilling engineering from Romania’s University of Petroleum & Gas, and also did coursework in petroleum engineering at Texas A&M University. He has 20 years of experience in drilling research and technology development. He most recently spent 16 years in PDC (polycrystalline diamond compact) drill bit work with two major drill bit companies.

Houston, has announced the appointment of Vincent M. Thielen as vice-president of business development, and Dennis S. Baldwin as vice-president and corporate controller.

Aberdeen, has announced the creation of a new global business development group based in Houston, reporting to Andy Barden, division technical manager. As part of the new group, Tony Bokas has been promoted to business development manager of process services, and Steve Barber has been promoted to business development manager of chemical cleaning services.

Bokas holds a BS degree (with honors) in chemical engineering from the University of Birmingham, England. He has been with BJ PPS since 1995, most recently serving as sales manager of the Middle East region, based in Dubai.

Tulsa, has announced its acquisition of KEU GmbH. KEU, based in Krefeld, Germany, supplies thermal oxidizers and heat recovery systems to industry. The addition of KEU allows John Zink to offer improved environmental solutions to their customers.

John Zink will offer thermal oxidizers for gaseous and liquid residues, catalytic waste gas cleanup systems, recuperative systems, high temperature gas exchangers, direct and indirect air heaters, and a waste gas combustion system that destroys gaseous streams from chemical production processes.
